Elena knew from the very beginning of her life that athletics will be an integral part of her daily routine as she started sports at the age of 3. She studied Sports Science in Greece, where she is from. She holds 2 Masters. Her first Master – Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology and her second in Sport Management.
Elena was an athlete for 20 years in Taekwondo, and she joined the National Team of Greece with many successes in her career. She was forced to quit competitive sport due to a serious injury in her lower back, hence the start of Pilates. As a student, she totally fell in love with the method. Her passion for knowledge lead her to the centre of the Pilates education, New York. She completed her studies with the best teachers and trainers.
She has been teaching Pilates and functional training for seven years now, mostly Personal sessions. She’s specialized in people with chronicle diseases, cancer and low back problems. Additionally, she worked with volleyball, basketball and taekwondo players, maintaining their physical conditioning and being responsible for their rehabilitation.
As an athlete, she gained self-discipline, and that’s what she asks from her students. She trains them to learn their bodies in detail and feel every little movement. She deeply believes that health and safety are above all.
